Question of the Day
Purpose of the toolPost a question on a t-chart and students can drag their names to the appropriate answer.
Explanation of the toolPress the "Settings" button and enter a question and at least 2 possible answers. You can enable a third possible answer by checking the checkbox.
Enter the names of your students separated by a comma or put each name on separate line. Press "Save" to start the activity.
The question is displayed at the top of the activity. The answers are shown in a chart. A list of cards with the names of students is displayed at the bottom.
Ask students to drag their names to the appropriate answer. Press "Reset" to start again if necessary.
For some questions a student might fall into two categories. Use the drown down menu to switch between a table chart and a Venn diagram.
You can also choose to use this activity without a list of student names. If you decide not to enter names in the settings screen the activity will display an image of a thumb instead of a list of name cards. You can drag an infinite amount of thumbs to the appropriate answers.
Tip: You can also use this tool to create your own sorting activities. Instead of entering a list of student names, you can (for example) enter a list of food items and ask which which item is healthy or unhealthy.
